Excited to have purchased a Fujifilm Instax Mini Evo which will be showing up on Wednesday. The camera gets rave reviews and it can also be used for printing photos from a phone (seems like a great companion for mood.camera and Leica LUX on the iPhone). Really looking forward to carrying this around to be able to put pictures into my notebook!

Going to use Scribbles (and Pika, and Pagecord, and micro.blog) for short posts as well as weeklies until I have time to adjust my ghost thing to handle them properly. Maybe I'll like it enough to just keep micro blogging as well.

2026 Week 29

There was a hell of a lot happening last week here in Chicagoland. First and foremost... ☁️ The weather! 🪵🔥 The Canadians were shipping the smoke from their wildfires down here. The Air Quality Index (AQI) normally maxes out at 500 for most places that show it but it doesn't really have a max as it's a measurement of particles in the air. We hit 919 here on one of the permanent air quality monitors in the area. Most of the Chicago area was in the 600-700 range for a couple days and it was nasty. I'd rather not experience...
